OK.. so most of us know by now that u can get shields in PvE which have -5 dmg (Chance 20%)
But wont this make the previous -3 dmg (Chance 10%) shields pointless? Especially when people payed so much for perfect shields with this in before the update.
Also.. would i be correct in saying you can get +60 health while hexed shields in PvE now?

Well another thing to consider is that I don't believe you will find a shield with the -5 AND another -x modifier.

Some people still like the -2 and -3 items because the condition can be controlled (while enchanted, while in stance) rather than relying on chance.

I agree it is a nice shield stat, but won't obsolete the previous options.

If I read the update correctly no you won't be able to get the +60 health shields in PvE.

Guess that makes up for some of the things the PvP players are missing from the PvE environment.

not true look on PC for the +50 hex mod

and as far as the -5 shield...the one I found had no other mod

Yea this is quite annoying... i really dont think they should have put the -5 20% in without changing the previous -3 10%

I have found that u CAN get the new -5 with another bonus. Its totally going to change the player market and that annoys me a lot.

Also, the previous +45 hexed is going to be worthless too which is annoying for some.

you can get stuff like the old one, i saw a +4 (16% chance) earlier.

Know what that means? Nothing should ever be ridiculously overpriced, as it could be obsolete as "uber" gear in a week.

Not that this will actually change, but meh.

So what happened to the idea of both sides of the game being equall?

I have heard over and over about how they don't want to favor one style of gameplay over the other then when enough people complain about not being able to get certain gear for PvP only characters "Lieutenant's helm" They respond by not only making it available to PvP but then put in new things that aren't available in PvE

I agree that the items should be available to both PvP and PvE even though PvE players that make characters to compete in PvP have a harder time of getting perfect gear but to make something that is not available to people who put in more effort to make their characters competative just smells bad to me.

So I guess I'm wondering where are the new collectors for the same type of sheilds that they gave to PvP only?
Or is everyone going to just have to wait and have a bidding war over the first Gold -5 20% +30 sheild that comes along assuming one ever does...
